Cancellation policy
Impact Guru Ltd provides consultancy services, commissioned content, sponsorship opportunities and digital professional resources.
Because many services are bespoke, capacity-limited or reserved in advance, cancellations are managed in accordance with the terms below.
Consultancy and Professional Services
Consultancy, bid writing, tender support, advisory work and related professional services are typically scheduled against available capacity.
If a client wishes to cancel or postpone agreed work, reasonable notice should be provided as early as possible.
- Cancellations made more than 10 working days before the agreed start date will generally not incur a cancellation charge.
- Cancellations made within 10 working days of the agreed start date may be subject to charges where preparation, planning or capacity allocation has already occurred.
- Work completed prior to cancellation remains chargeable.
Impact Guru Ltd will always seek to act reasonably and may offer rescheduling where practical.
Commissioned Knowledge Articles
Commissioned knowledge articles are bespoke services produced specifically for the commissioning organisation.
Projects may be cancelled before work begins by contacting Impact Guru Ltd.
Once research, planning, drafting or content development has commenced, cancellation may not be possible and charges may apply for work already completed.
Completed commissioned articles cannot be cancelled after delivery.
Knowledge Hub Sponsorships
Knowledge Hub sponsorships are exclusive, capacity-limited placements reserved for a specific organisation.
Sponsorship agreements may be cancelled before activation by contacting Impact Guru Ltd.
Once a sponsorship has been activated, the sponsorship term continues until its agreed end date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If a sponsor chooses to end a sponsorship early, the placement may be removed at the sponsor's request, however refunds or pro-rata refunds will not normally be available.
Digital Products and Resources
Where digital products, downloadable resources or electronic materials are supplied, cancellations may not be possible once access has been granted or delivery has occurred.
Cancellation by Impact Guru Ltd
Impact Guru Ltd reserves the right to decline, postpone, suspend or cancel services where:
- required information is not provided
- payment arrangements are not met
- requested work is unsuitable or outside agreed scope
- professional, ethical, legal or reputational concerns arise
- circumstances occur that make delivery impractical or unreasonable
Where Impact Guru Ltd cancels a service before work has commenced, any applicable payments received for undelivered work may be refunded.
Exceptional Circumstances
Requests relating to exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Impact Guru Ltd will seek to act fairly and reasonably while taking account of work completed, resources allocated and commitments already made.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Cancellation Policy affects any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
