SME and VCSE partners are often valued for their flexibility, community reach and relational approaches. However, these strengths do not remove the need for structured quality assurance. Providers remain accountable for outcomes, safeguarding and risk management, regardless of who delivers the activity. The challenge is designing monitoring that is proportionate, consistent and meaningful.
